Emma says hello! She's found her hand a couple of times and holds in front of her face, looking amazed and studying it in great detail.
Great Granddaddy had a chance to hold her for a short time the other day. Emma quickly woke up and realized that she was hungry again!
After a snack, it's time to get some more sleep.
Big brother Liam is getting more interested in his little sister as the days pass. He was very concerned when her umbilical cord was about to fall off but soon realized it was okay because then Emma will have a belly button :) Liam loves to touch or 'pet' her and giggles whenever she moves.
Liam decided that he wants to nickname Emma "jelly bean" which I think is so adorable and very creative! With our help, he was able to hold her for the first time last night. A photographic challenge since it happened so fast and it's hard to focus with happy tears in my eyes! Liam was so happy to hold her and giggled the whole time. It makes my heart swell with pride and love when he tells Emma that he loves her and she is so cute and sweet! Liam is doing such a great job adjusting to being the big boy in the house. Josh and I are so proud of him.
The first week has gone by sooo fast, I can barely believe it. Josh went back to work this morning and Liam was supposed to go to preschool but he wanted to stay home and help mommy with Emma :)
