A spring greeting

Hello there! Spring is here and the warm weather is so wonderful. We went to some Come See Me Events last weekend to celebrate the start of spring. First we went to the chalk art event downtown with my friend Becca and her daughter Willow. Liam was really excited to see Glen the frog. The kids drew with chalk and ran around. Liam found an inch worm and brought it home as his pet.
At the frog jump event we skipped the actually frog jumping because the line was long and Liam couldn't wait to do the rides and games. He is still wearing his wristband and refuses to take off the 'red bracelet.' He adopted a pink rhino at the teddy bear surgery and planted a tomato plant when we went to the gardens. He also found more inch worms. I remembered to take my camera with us but it stayed in the car. Unfortunately I need another pair of hands to actually use it while we are out!

Emma is eight weeks old now and changing so much. She is beginning to 'talk' a little bit, a goo and gaa every now and then, and we've even gotten a couple of laughs out of her which are adorable.
She is growing really fast and has started to outgrow some of her three month clothes already. For this reason, I'm trying to take pictures when she fits into something cute! This week she was wearing an Easter onesie so we had a quick photo shoot and some of the pictures are below. It looks like she is sticking out her tongue :)

Emma likes being on her changing table and kicks her feet and smiles at me. Even if her diaper is clean I can put her down on the changing table for a few happy minutes, usually just enough time to put away her laundry. A new skill I've learned as a mother of two is to take care of household tasks whenever the I can get a few minutes. The moby wrap baby carrier I ordered a few weeks ago is a necessary tool for me these days. It allows Emma to sleep peacefully on me while I get groceries, do laundry or push Liam on his swing outside. Babywearing makes my life so much easier, I can get stuff done while keeping my baby close and that's great because it keeps us all happy!

Big brother Liam is doing great with his little sister and reminds every day that baby Emma is so adorable! He asks to hold her often and I took some pictures of them just the other day so I'll try to post those next time.

Emma is up from her nap now so this post must end but I'll try to share more pictures soon .... have a yummy Easter!
