Our three year old little man has been busy lately. The wonderful spring weather has us outside almost every afternoon and he plays in the dirt, swings and slides on his swingset, makes music on his drum set, helps me garden and then we visit with Mim and Grandaddy where he puts fresh water in the bird bath for Mim and helps Grandaddy unload the dirt from the scooter. Sometimes we just sit on the porch with them, watching the birds, and Liam gets cookies and sweet tea from Mimmy :)
The other day we spent some time exploring one of Grandaddy's buildings. I was interested and impressed to see Liam's robot, a stack of bearings he found and even a control switch. He was frustrated because he couldn't figure out to make it walk but he was soon distracted by the dirt and covered the robot with a dirt storm!
Next he made a desert city inside of a box, what an imagination! He told me a whole story about the city and who lived there but my mommy brain forgot the details. Our exploration ended with some random pieces of lumber that were propped up and made the perfect race track for Liam's cars. All of this while Emma napped and I took pictures, what a great afternoon :)
