Zoo time :)

We decided to take the kids to the Riverbanks zoo last week.

It'd been long enough that Liam didn't remember his last trip and he had a blast. He ran all around the zoo and was wiped out by the time we left.

Liam wanted to feed the Lorakeets, all by himself! Luckily we all stayed clean on this part of our animal adventure and next door we saw a koala bear. The koala was awake this visit which was great since I have always caught them during naptime.  

A father and son ride on the carousel and Liam chose the stationary seat but I was lucky enough to get this cool photo. 

We saw a lot of animals. Liam really liked the reptiles and birds. Emma's favorite was definitely the penguins.
I remember taking a picture of Liam with this chimp statue and I need to look and see if I can find it!

The kids were both asleep after being in the car for about 15 minutes.... a sure sign that we had a great family day at the zoo :)
